I noticed the first ground frost this morning as I was shooting the sunrise but not significant enough for me to photograph. However, the dew clinging to the hairs trapped in this barbed wire definitely captured my attention!

A very curious pearly plot that you have recovered very well. A beautiful effect that the b / n has put more in evidence. Compliments. Hello hello, Lully :-) :-) Un intreccio perlato molto curioso che hai ripreso benissimo. Un bellissimo effetto che il b/n ha messo più in evidenza. Complimenti. Ciao ciao, Lully

Thanks very much, Tim! Thankfully, I had my tripod but not my macro lens. There was another lovely sunrise this morning, although less atmospheric as there was no mist but I'll store the images away for another day.....
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Lully!
Your comment gives me much pleasure, Gianni - thank you so much! Many thanks for the welcome back, too!
Giuseppe - such a beautiful comment - most sincere thanks!
I see that there have been two lovely mornings (and days) recently but I have not been out, let alone taken one single shot, in almost a week.
I'm kind of waiting in for delivery of a lens that David M is sending (well, his wife did, as he is suffering from a pinched nerve - oitch!) but I don't think it'll come today, now. Won't say too much now in case it's a big disappointment (it's one he didn't like and never got a good shot out of) but if I do keep it, it'll be a bargain. We've been intending to meet up since early summer so I could try it but our paths never quite crossed and then he spent over a month in France and now the rail offer has evaporated...
There are other pleasures in life Ann, and things needing doing, other than photography! And I got a good stock of photographic fodder in the two weeks prior. Perhaps I just need a physical rest too. So, I've made my next venture out wait until I test David's old lens, as I said, was going to be today, but now, tomorrow.
