Mah !!! Strange, do not part .... Still, sent on May 28, 2017 (11:01) by Alberto Gaddi. 66 comments, 1301 views.

Extraordinary document for this diesel dinosaur ;-) interesting the caption, though I beg you to translate Pitoccheria, because I do not think I have understood it :-P. Nice old picture, compliments.

A wonderful life document lived, other than tractors with all the comforts. Is it bad or is the mythical Landini hot head, what you had to heat the cylinder head with the gas flame to start it?

Thanks Andros51 :-), I think it was actually the Landini Hot Head, also known as Super Landini, built at Fabbrico's (RE) workshops from '34 to '51, cubic capacity of 12,200 cc; The main characteristic was precisely, as you said, that of starter with the coil shell at 600/700 C °.
A cordial greeting ;-)

Thank you Simonetta, happy that you liked it :-)
The term "pitoccheria" by us, at the border between the provinces of Modena and Mantua, means avarice, typhoons due to a chronic lack of means ... it is almost a necessity of virtue ;-).
A cordial greeting and a good day

Just a tiny bit about spacing on the left side ...
But really many compliments for the interpretation.
Conversion but also all the rest, really but very good management.
Congratulations Alberto, a greeting
Titian

I thank you Titian :-), the image was obtained from a b / n print of 9x13 cm. Of 1971/1972 (probably one of the first ones I printed in my dark room) and unfortunately there is no space left and the dx tank has been wildly cut, it is the fruit of the inexperience of 45 years ago! :-(: - |
Scannering is unfortunately the same
To the old print ...
Thanks again and a good evening
Alberto
