Immagini a scopo documentaristico (vedi galleria).

We can't do anything about the force of nature, what a disaster! Good for the paperwork.

It is to weep... sin, perhaps I will see it again in its true splendor when I have turned 90 years... it would be worth getting there just for that!
The photo conveys the emotion very well.... sadness

For completeness of information I must say that the Classic view of the lake with the background of the Latemar is quite safe, because on that bank the firs were, say so, preserved.

Interesting photographic documentation showing an unprecedented environmental disaster. The heart really cries, especially to those who love these alpine places :-( .
In addition to Trentino, Tyrol and Bellunese, The High Vicentino was particularly affected and in the least the Upper Veronese (Mount Carega area).
The situation in the Asiago Plateau towards the Ortigara is extremely serious in vicentino. Now the area is gradually cleaned up and 350,000 of the felled fir trees have been sold to an eastern society :-/ . On the other hand, this large amount of wood would greatly exceed the requirements for a long time of the whole of Europe.
CIAO, Gastone. ;-)
