, 1/60 f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod. Rimini, Italy.

Unknown Gurka, rifles, 1944, age 21.

Beautiful photo, which expresses sensitivity and makes you think, history teaches say, but evidently not always good teacher, perhaps because there are bad pupils and errors/horrors are perpetuating over time, rotating around the world without a solution of contact Although maybe in different forms :-(.
Interesting image with profound human meaning Joseph, congratulations.

Every photograph sets a moment, lights a light, because that instant that we have seen and heard is not lost.
is a click, a light sound in silence.
that simple gesture, press the shutter button by the photographer is like a torch that comes on suddenly, the flame rises and dances on the frost, on the ice, on the dust of everything forgotten and touches many hearts.

Thank you for your thoughts. I often step in front of that graveyard of war and sometimes I stop for a visit, a presence in that abandoned place.
a dear greeting.
