Iz3hbt usually go up either to Campomulo or Marcesina. It is lower but farther from the plain. I'm looking for other darker places further north. but it's easier to find covered. I took a few pictures from the top of Ekar. But I lack experience in astrophotography. I miss equipment. Light stand. no filters and superzoom optics pushed enough.
The only time I photographed a nebula was the Orion nebula. Just visible in a poor and unsatisfactory comunqe photo... By the way made from top Ekar

Out of curiosity. what filters you used. especially to reduce light pollution?

@Boghero, I used Luminance filter, then Red, Green and Blue filters. They actually do almost nothing against light pollution, they only serve to create the colorful image with the monochrome sensor that I used. I then added hydrogen signal with a 12nm Ha filter: this does break down light pollution, but returns a red panel that needs to be integrated with the rest of the image.
Fath pollution in this case is controlled by the long focal that frames a narrow field, and by the fact that the subject is very high in the sky.
If I had used the same technique with a short focal of 2-300mm, light pollution would have been an obvious problem.

Big compliments!! Huge I'd say...
I see that I'm at the beginning in this matter... and I do not understand if I have the "right" files to feed to a stacker, could you kindly provide me with an example of RAW files of those used? any one that you think would be good, as long as you have many to get decent results.

Thank you Max. I do not have for now availability of the PC from which I resumed to show you a raw file, but anyway the important thing is that it is properly in focus and there are no errors of tracking on the stars. The image is definitely very dark, but don't worry: the difference makes the stack of many images.
yys you can take a look at this post in another forum where you see the final image and a raw file

Perfect thank you. I have looked and notice that compared to mine, in your RAW the subject already "comes out" much more.
This leads me to think that, from where I look, in the countryside but with glare of the city, there is still a too high IL that leads me to have little contrast on the file with all the problems of the case.
