Pros: Ergonomics, operational speed, good quality of jpg

Cons: Battery life, laying latitude, good but not great sensor, brain autofocus

Opinion: Unjustly mistreated, it's a machine that needs to be understood. It does not want to challenge the flagships with the datasheet, but it is directed to those looking for a good tool for photography. The strong point is the operational speed. You bring it to your eyes and with the new PV mode combined with the Fn key you can change the settings without lowering the camera. Thinking about it I was nostalgic for the direct access keys! Comfortable with medium/small hands. Interesting some features such as Focus Bracketing or touch focus. I can't tell if the focus is as fast as advertised, but with the 24 105 it's definitely fast. Coming from a 6D I got into a lot of fights with the autofocus system. Everything is studying on it and resigning itself to the abandonment of the few AF points. Batteries don't last indefinitely, but in practice they hold more than stated. I recommend keeping a spare one in your pocket. Compared to 6D, the sensor improvement is not obvious; it doesn't impress, but it doesn't disappoint either. Here, too, we need to organize: using the DPP, the management of the RAW improves a lot. Great color rendering, impress the Jpgs.

Pros: handling, af, ease of use, FF, Focus staking and rangemeter

Cons: Dynamic range, display meter, battery menu button in the top left, tropicalization.

Opinion: I find it a great FF entry level, great detail, excellent iso seal, lightning af and excellent features not present in some upper machines. What disappointed me a little is the display meter, does not work very well and often you are forced to overexpose by 2 stops. The dynamic range is not the best but being a landscaper hardly snap without bkt. Another thing that doesn't go down is the additional grip at the price of 100 euros. a piece of plastic without any function I find it highly out of the market. I'm glad I bought it and I hope you can do some updates to correct via software some flaws in the machine. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the FF.

Pros: Full Frame, lightness, servo af in videos, adapter ring and complete compatibility with EF-EF-s optics, optical viewfinder with fairly accurate evaluative exposure, discreet versatility of the tilt screen, customizable in the controls , semi-automatic management and automatic even for newbies; in-room crop (x1.6), with the additional grip (EG-E1 ) is handy even for those with a bit of bigger hands; familiar commands and functions for those who have already used an EOS system; HDR full HD video more than enough (for unprofessional use), IBIS for video shooting Connectivity with APP , Eye AF IMPRESSIONANTE !!! , rechargeable with power bank.

Cons: Native optics (RF) still very expensive. Dynamic range (although proportionate to class), battery (already optimized in exchange for a few less features/performance). The standard adapter ring is the "basic" one (there are 3) great if you mix from EF to RF but the advantage of compactness as mirrorless you lose it (even if you mount a pancake) the shutter sound is RIDICOLO , and the silent snap mode is usable only in 1 "scene mode" (perhaps the most serious sin !)

Opinion: The machine has the advantage of being full frame to be proportionate to the market price for perstations and functions has strengths that could even be improved and make it even more enforceable. For example, if it had the silent click that can be selected even in Manual it would increase its value and its versatility as well because, do not tell me anything, but the shutter on a mirrorless for me makes a ridiculous noise... Spend a few euros to buy the grip (EG-E1) that does not bring any advantage from the point of view of autonomy but if you have big hands... you'll have a wandering pinky less than the basic version of the RP in addition to the fact that aesthetically it is cute and ergonomic perfectly complements the design lines of the machine and wanting to find it also colored red or blue in very rare cases ORO. (I got the standard black version) The adapter ring (standard) allows you to mount both optics with EF attachment and EF-S (also third-party but attention to compatibility) is actually the BASE version among 3 available (buybills apart but with a price I do not know if justified and/or proportionate) one of which in addition to the filters "Drop In" allows you to check, with an additional dial, the optics on mentioned completely simulating as if you had the management of an RF optic (in fact it is customizable by the controls for both iso opening and other). While for the coveted "photo" I would not repeat too much of not being too demanding because it re-appears disappointed even working on Raw... (I only throw a spear in favor of Raw if you manage the images with Canon Digital Photo Professional which is the UNICO to properly manage the files. Cr3 ; there is a very little improvement of IMHO management and recovery] unfortunately I over ISO 1000 can not talk about it well... I can imagine that with native optics the situation is better but with EF/EF-S... Forget. Always in the Photo area the most beautiful thing is 'eye AF I was really surprised (already I use Face Detection often but) aim and follow the eye even at a distance impressed me. In the video field instead also considering myself an absolute NEOFITA and "casual user" I got to be positively taken, in the sense that Focus and Drive AF in the videos with the intervention of the IBIS (which has unlike sister R) even I managed to bring something good enough to the house !!! The settings in general are optimized precisely for people who do not have a great experience in Photos/video and I have to say that in addition to the explanations in cam (which I disabled because I seemed to have the toy camera in hand) allows you with a minimum of knowledge of cause to get to bring videos at least Full HD home "there is not so much harm". In fine compatibility (with everything you have of the EOS system to date ) and the lightness of the machine body allow you to carry it with you to have a minimum of decency in the images... If you find it at a not high price (around 1200 euros) it is great to get into Full Frame and already in RF if you do not pass the desire in the meantime and migrate to other.

Pros: small and light, great autofocus, full frame

Cons: unbalanced with heavy optics.

Opinion: socket to flank a 6d mark ii as the second machine body. I can say that I was very satisfied. I recommend it for those who want to travel light. it is responsive and has a great autofocus. The quality of the viewfinder is also very good. With heavy and large optics you notice a lot of imbalance towards the goal. I didn't have any problems with the adapter. Great screen with which you can move your finger the focus while looking in the crosshairs (one thing I love). Would I ever sell the 6d mark ii to keep only the Rp.? I'd say No,,. The 6d mark ii cannot be replaced. Looking at the light with the optical sight is something I could never give up... then I feel it much more solid. more work reflex, much more balanced. To put it mild. I have to photograph a baptism, I have to take sports photos, I carry the 6d mark ii. I have to go out and street, or a week out of town, I bring the RP. What would I ask canon to improve it? nothing, or maybe yes, of the light and small optics to match...

Pros: Size and ergonomics, controls, tropicalization, price, image detail, ISO seal, RF lens system quality.

Cons: THE LOCAL LUOGHI ON THE WEB, dynamic range, memory card slots along with the battery, price if over 1100, switch on/of on the left side, THE LUOGHI COMUNI ON WEB, partial incompatibility of third-party batteries and cost of the originals, RF slow system cost.

Opinion: Coming from 550D, 50D, M50 I decided to switch to this RP for LAVORARCI. I've been testing it for a couple of months and these are my opinions: Excellent ergonomics, falls in the hand perfectly and the controls are positioned very well (except the on/off on the left). Very good image quality and detail, good ISO seal but not mind-blowing. Climb to ISO 6400 quietly, but if you want to get up again you have to consider the situation for a moment. Where it really sins is in the dynamic range, it forces you to take perfectly exposed photos, which you should always do but unfortunately does not always happen, and when you want to recover the resulting shot of life however quite underexposed, then it begins to pull out noise of luminance and color all too loud. The same lack is also felt in landscape photography compared to other brands (S..) where it fails to pull out the same level of colors and details from certain scenes. The battery unlike the clichés that you read does its duty, I got to make 300 to 700 shots with a single charge (original). As for the gust, which in AF Servo drops to 4fps but with ILLLIMITATO RAW buffer, I snapped and sold with satisfaction the full day service to a motocross race, so I do not consider it at all unusable. So who is this RP for? If you want an unpretentious and no-frills FF to bring home the work, but that gives you satisfaction if used properly, if you want the cheapest FF (usable) on the market, if you want a technological machine, small, light but at the same time ergonomic to use the myriad Canon goals, then this RP is for you! (A PATTO OF BUY NOT MORE THAN 1100-1200 EUR). If you want a machine that always allows you to recover in peace, with a 1200-shot battery, with a 15x15cm EVF, then look at more. For 1000 euros I would buy it, even compared to a 6D, 6D2, 5D3? Yes! Over 1300? I would evaluate the other famous brand from the orange bayonet remaining on the FF. AH, I forgot. If you want to be a video maker, canon has the C series (CINEMA) listed, since for VIDEO it takes the CAMERA.
