Pros: Very much like X-T1, almost identical. Where it has been changed, the changes are almost all good. It can give good, clean, big image and you can crop this image quite a bit if you need to. (24 mp)

Cons: Ridiculous interface with too many toggles and switches. Too long menu (too many settings). Expensive even now that it is retired (X-T3 is the present model). Fuji lenses are ridiculously expensive and neither Sigma nor Tamron make alternative lenses for X-T2. So if you buy one, you are in for VERY VERY expensive adventures in the lenses shop.

Opinion: Compared to the earlier X-T1 this camera is a move in the right direction. The problem is it is only a small move. If X-T3 is a similar small move, I will not buy X-T3 and go for another brand. The good things are actually good: the image is much better than from X-T1 (which was good but not brilliant) and easily competes with any other top shelf aps-c (small) sensor. In my opinion it also competes with many FF sensors. The camera seems to underexpose by at least 0.5 point, possibly about 1 point. Jpeg files are huge and not easy to downsize for the screen - so the camera is very good choice for those who need big files (e.g. to print big images) but not a good choice for those who always shoot for the web/blog/etc. My impression is that this camera could be used for some kinds of professional work because the image it creates is big, detailed, sharp and very kind to the eye. The big downside of the camera is the stupid Fuji 'retro' interface. But Fuji engineers have never held a real retro camera in hand (e.g. an FM2). So I will keep this camera for a time and see if I can get used to it. I got it with a super duper discount and with a full 2 year warranty. The discount is because new X-T3 is on the market now and there is virtually zero local demand for Fuji cameras.

Pros: High iso hold, jpeg quality, af speed, colors comparable to film, delicious bn

Cons: Pitiful battery life

Opinion: For a year I have completely modified my photo kit. I sold my Canon ff equipment with L-series lenses and switched to Leica Q2 to which I joined this Fuji xt2. What to say, it fully satisfies my idea of photos. The Fuji world is not unknown to me, having already owned an X100 is an xt1. I paired it at 18 55, at 55 200 it's at a fixed 27. The only flaw is the battery life. I made up for it with the purchase of 2 more pieces. Rating 9.5.

Pros: Robustness, weight, price of used, high iso seal, overall quality, customizable, menu simplicity

Cons: Size (for those coming from the top of the canon range), absolute need for battery grip, both to increase its size and for batteries

Opinion: I recently sold all my canon equipment (1d mk iv, 24-105L and 28-70L f2.8) and I don't miss it at all. I bought this tank at a really affordable price 550 euros, along with a fujinon 18-55 2.8-4 at 250 euros. With 800 euros I have a decent starting equipment, although maybe I will switch to a fujinon 18-135, to have all the focal covers and I feel satisfied. It may sound silly, but it is a machine that would be able to use even a child, if you put everything automatically the machine (a rather rare case for those of its headband) makes beautiful shots. The iso are real and usable up to 12000, this is also a great novelty for me, until today I was forced to stop on the 3200, here the noise is there but it is not colored and therefore does not bother me. While the entry level kit is quite cheap, the other optics are not, but the quality is already assured in this 18-55, tropicalized, crisp and fast (despite not being ultrasonic it does not make any noise and focheggia on any subject; in case of poor lights a light and focuses even in the dark). The guineas are in 80% of the cases fluid and pleasant, only the smaller ones of the shooting modes and the display meter are a bit uncomfortable. The viewfinder is fast, it doesn't even seem to be electronic, the display is a little slower and orients well only vertically (occasionally I play pretending it's a cockpit sight). Sore button is the ergonomics, greatly improved with the purchase of the vertical grip, and the battery with ridiculous life, but I have pre-empt 5 batteries, of which 3 to keep inserted with the bg. The jump from aps-h to mirrorless with crop 1.5 tempted me and scared me at the same time, I must say that the landing was pleasant.

Pros: Colors and white balance, hold noise that does not make the FF regret too much, direct commands, lenses with PDC reduced almost comparable to the FF, viewfinder

Cons: Zoom lenses not always up to par, good lenses are often without rain resistance and/or with slow autofocus, the dynamic range is not that of a FF even with low use (maybe some think so), conversion in the machine of unnerving raw, zooms are not much ( if not the red xf)

Opinion: I've been using it for 9 months and I give it 8.5/9 as a vote and system. I took it when prices dropped for the arrival of the xt3 otherwise I wouldn't have taken it. It's a great trade-off between FF and 4/3 portability. The image quality, especially in shadow and light recovery, is not that of Sony a7 mark2. But it's more than enough and the noise holds it up well. Fixed lenses provide shallow depth of field that does not make the FF regret. The colors and white balance are very good compared to the Sony a7 and the Panasonic GX 85 that I had. The main problem for is the lack on the best stabilizer lenses, the lack of protection to the water (although in the rain nothing happened to me with the 23 1.4) and the lack of a fast autofocus. They didn't make the series A and B lenses. The perfect machine does not exist, this is a great all-rounder (although the FF in the matter of weights and costs are not far away)

Pros: Aesthetics, price, file quality, ergonomics, colors, Fuji goals

Cons: For now, no one

Opinion: After falling in love with Fuji with an X100S, I sold all my Canon kit to take the X-T2, I was long undecided whether to take this or the X-T3, or an X-T20/30, but then, thanks to a very affordable price - even considering that it has been a long time coming Ita the X-T3 - I opted for the X-T2. In addition to the affordable price, I was convinced that the X-T2 files work perfectly with Lr6, not forcing me to a subscription with Adobe. The machine is beautiful, like all the other Fuji, certainly not a feather weight but comparable to the entry levels Canon (almost identical to my old 760D), but with a much higher quality and characteristics; excellent ergonomics, especially when compared to the X100 series, which are a bit small for my hands. Many customizable keys and the dials available. The strength of the Fuji system are definitely the files (especially the JPg SOOC) and the goals, all of a truly exceptional quality, although then the price goes up a little: forget the Canon goals from 100 euros or a little more (I think the excellent 50STM or 24STM) , but expect a quality comparable to Canon's L-series. I mean, i think the X-T2 is still a machine that I would recommend.
