Pros: The battery lasts a lot, the files are very light of the D300/D300s and Much smaller than the other two that I have been using for many years D300s/D300 - with the D90 I make so many cities, people, monuments, interiors and much more... It has many functions its menus, such as photographing quickly when you are in a hurry...

Cons: For now Nothing... Just the fact that she's a little dated, you don't find monitor covers quickly, you have to make them yourself like in cell phones... For the rest and obvious and a NIKON you can't get hurt...

Opinion: I just took this machine, Used little, well, very few 5900 shots, and including a Target DX 18-55 VR - 3 batteries, with battery charge from USB and current, not a scratch, Registered machine and lens to niTAL a total of 150.00 Great deal... I advise all neophotographers to take it and check the equipment accessories of the manufacturer. I'm getting comfortable, and for the moment everything is OK put right with its functions, small at the same time and very practical to carry around kind of in the city... in parties, restaurants, buses, even to do the shopping, coupled with a DX 35 f/1.8 I have paired it with three goals, a Nikon DX 35 f/1.8 - a Tamron DX 10-24 f/3.5-4.5 and a classic Tamron 18-270 f/3.5-6.3 I hope as a machine, which behaves well as the D5000 - D300 and the D300s have always done that for now the other two machines do their duty and have other goals a Macro and a telegoal... I posted some photos on this D90 are just tests, it does not seem but I have to get used to even the DX 35 f/1.8 for here it takes a little patience, now it seems that you can not go out because of the Coronavirus soon I will post more photos... Greetings to all... (MGNELLO)

Pros: Size weight and maximum exploitability, especially as a second body machine.

Cons: For what it does and how much you pay today in the used: NO

Opinion: It is one of the few Nikons that really impressed me, the colors are very beautiful and never misses a shot. Always take the picture home. Small machine but that knows how to get its hands dirty in all situations. Always manageable, clear, the battery lasts a lifetime, is not heavy nor bulky. It is not a PRO and its quality is limited, but its 12mega pixels are exploitable ALL, unlike other models even with 24Mpix but that are worth little. After having it for 2 years I'm buying it back now.

Cons: Maybe the CMOS sensor doesn't live up to the competition (Canon)

Opinion: Machine body almost identical to the Nikon D80 whose sensor changes which is CMOS maybe not up to the competition (Canon); A resolution of 12 MPIXELIn is a very good Reflex with not excessive weight WITH A GOOD IMAGE QUALITY. I didn't use it too much so I can't say more. I used it with old optics Nikon 80:200 TO POMPA and I got very nice photos. I found a higher overall quality on the Nikon D7100 and Nikon D2X. However overall I like it and I will keep it for a long time.

Pros: Ergonomics, double ring, handling, bright display

Cons: Noise on high iso, autofocus sometimes slow

Opinion: After 6 years of non-intense use and for strictly amateur use I would like to say that it is a beautiful machine, recommended by a professional seller and despite being almost out of production, immediately after holding it in my hand gave me the impression of a ergonomics and practicality excellent, the robustness seems good to me (personally proven after a strong fall). The screen is bright and in my opinion well contrasted with the double dial for the main controls and all the functions at handy looks of a much higher level. I'd buy it back right away. The photos are still very good now.

Pros: Double ring, direct controls, presence of side display for shutter info, customizable button, possibility of battery grip, built-in autofocus motor, pentaprism, full reflex controls, large optical park, price on second hand

Cons: High ISO not very well

Opinion: I own the Nikon d90 from Nov. 2012. It is a perfect reflex for those who want to enter the world of photography, having at their disposal all the necessary hotkeys that are not in the series D3xxx and D5xxx. The resolution is fine, beautiful colors, good photos, above 800 ISO you have to be careful, with quality optics and large openings you can push further, with less bright optics better not exceed the 800 ISO (loss of detail, noise intrusive). The backlit side screen (not the main one) is very convenient to take a quick look at the machine settings. You can also mount D-series optics with considerable economical savings and have at your disposal excellent optics at more affordable prices. It is not possible to compare it to the current high-end SLR, however, still manages to crank out photos of excellent quality, especially with lenses of good level even old.. But of a good standard.
