Pros: Quality, Low Distortion, VC, 2.8, Sharpness at 2.8....

Cons: Wight, none....

Opinion: What for a Monster !!! The Tamron 15-30 is my First Lens from Tamron, and i was very suspicious bevor buying. Read and hera a lot of AF Problems, unsharp Images u.s.w But......... This Lens hit my 14-24 Nikon, (Sharpness at the Corners). For me the best WA i ever had.. (on my Nikon D750). The building and haptic is Top. Distortion and Vignetteing are less, and quickly corrected by Adobe. Image Quality is Phantastic. The VC is perfect for me and my Style (LowLight, People,Concerts). For the Price im very, very Happy !!!! Greets JazzSam

Pros: Fantastic image quality and vc I prefer it to the nikon 14-24 just seems edge sharpness wins here .Of cource price is a real winner to be cheaper and less is good but to be cheaper and kick ass is sensational...

Cons: Big and heavy but on the Nikon d810 it's a soooooo fantastic.

Opinion: I had the Samyang 14f2.8 umc and other wa lenses but this is just so much quality in one .But to be honest it's good to see that you dont have to spend hundreds or thousands to achieve top notch .Nikon and Canon need to pretend they are not so big and stop walking on people like they were little ants otherwise the little ants will eat at their feet and stop when there is no ass left .Really these companys are screwing people for after sale services when they start to race with each other,s products they produce crappy cameras and sensors ie d600 oily d800e off alighment sensors sb900 over heat cmon Nikon you charge enough to do a better service .Get rid of the spin doctors and hire some serious design engineers.

Pros: Built like a tank, nice contrast, precise autofocus, stabilizator and nice handling.

Cons: Risk to loose lens cap after some time when internal material will become thinner because of friction. Bulbous front element requires safe use and avoiding dropping - plastic fantastic :) No cheap filter system, at least for now. Weight is not a problem - I often have Canon 5D II + Sigma 70-200 F2.8 (1.4 kg) on my neck for all day...

Opinion: After long use of two fixes ( Samyang 14 F2.8 and Zeiss 35 F2.0 ) I am feeling like i get more freedom :) Nice contrast and sharpness, VC allows exposure 1/6 sec on 15 mm from hand. Samy 14 goes for temporary rest and will go to another enthusiast soon. Tamy does not have distracting corner deformation as Samyang though field of view is smaller. For now I am in love with this big beast :)

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, excellent focal range, construction, stabilization, overall quality, sharpness, vignette and reduced aberrations, colors

Cons: I would say nothing particularly relevant and that was not known at the time of purchase: weight, clutter, impossibility to use vine filters and some flares

Opinion: After 5 months of use on the d750 I am really satisfied with the expense and the excellent value for money of this lens. Convenient focal range, always very sharp even at TA, af that hardly misses a shot, constructive quality and excellent stabilization. Among the flaws (but I knew it already before I bought it), the weight, the footprint and the impossibility of mounting screw filters.

Pros: Solid construction, sharpness, VC, value for money

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Taken for a few months to use on d800 I was fully satisfied. Aesthetically I like it very much, at the first contact in the hand you immediately feel its good solidity, the gravels are quite fluid and precise and using it with care not even the protruding aspheric front lens puts too much "anxiety". The weight is quite important but it goes hand in hand with its really impressive sharpness in the center, slightly less sharp at the edges but I would say that it is so minimal the thing that you do not even notice it. Autofocus is very fast and precise and although the focus is quite short I do not deny that often the VC is useful and does its job in a very good way allowing even freehand shots at 1/10 without problems of chore or micro moved. and on d800 this is a success I would say :D You can only use it with holder and 150x150 slab filters that cost a lot, but I wouldn't define it as a problem this, since when you take this lens you put this in quote too, otherwise you change pattern by veering on lenses that can mount screw filters. The value for money I think is exceptional by placing this lens among the best widecorners now on the market on par with brands and lenses that are much more embossed.
